Hi . Just reading through this with great interest .
I have the 1.7TD . Interested to hear that the Turbo might get in the way .
I’ve found the rear subframe/ rear trailing arms, and rear diff, and the 405 Transfer Box. So that should work. But interested to read the inner front Drive shafts are different to the BX.
The rear obviously needs driveshafts and hubs which I do not have . So interested to read from you if the transfer box will fit the 1.7TD ? And where to get rear and front driveshafts from .. and rear hubs too ? And there is an electric box and switch to lock the diff too ?! Thanks

Hi Izaak, you seem to be asking questions about 4x4 conversion on loads of other people's threads, but I can't find one you've started to give a decent response. Can you link me to it?

Converting a non 4x4 car to 4x4 is almost impossible. The body shell is physically different. You'd have to remove all of the existing exhaust tunnel and fire wall to fit the bigger 4x4 tunnel. Then all the reinforcement panels that are added at the factory. That's just to start.
