As I said FCF is a nightmare to search using its own search function (as it disregards two letter words so you can't narrow stuff down). However, you can paste this in to Google and make it work so you can see if someone has had this problem of trying to work out which part to buy over the years.

Disappointing but one of the mods has stepped in to see of he can find the part number as he has personal access to the Stellantis site.
Never mind it's an interesting forum and one I should have joined long ago

Thanks for you help James and for pointing me in the right direction.
Mickthemaverick over on the French Car Forum sorted me out with the driveshaft information I needed. Now ordered and awaiting delivery.

That went well. New drive shaft arrived yesterday from Online Car Parts (Autodoc) and fitted this morning without any issues, the intermediate bearing bolts were a bit of a faff but worked it out in the end pretty much by feel as the car wasn't up high enough to get underneath. The old one had seen better days with a rough bearing and the outer CV just fell off - no sign of the circlip.
Hopefully no more clunks.

There's still that leak into the drivers floor to find. But on the positive side I don't think the heater matrix is leaking after all, I think I may have over filled it and it spat some out
So out with the polish and wax ready for Rustival
The new head unit and CD multi changer is also installed, I'll have to stop myself flicking between CDs, I'm starting to annoy myself

Had a great day at Rustival at Gaydon yesterday and met up with Kitch who gave me treasure

As well as a full aerosol of Bleu Romantique he also gave me this. I wasn't sure if it was a crack pipe or some kind of artificial heart valve

I had mine in the post yesterday aswell! A good month for us MK1 owners although I didn't have a refund cheque!
Mine was only just a few weeks too young to apply for historic last year.
