Found a 16TRS

Post by kiwi »

Well after wondering if BX16 exist in NZ I was rewarded to spot this

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 084725.htm

Now when someone says Rust and the warrent (MOT)is due to expire in the next month. I do get a bit cautious....

This beasty works out as 315 quid a bargain in Kiwi Terms

I am seriously considering it now I seen the Alloy wheels :)

Kitch, there is one thing to say about the Kiwis and they love there Automatics  my other car is a automatic. But then considering the majority of cars are automatics then it could explain the other point I made in a post elsewhere

Its a differant driving style in a Auto especially when corners are concerned :P Got to say when I got back to driving a manual my cornering was crap until I readjusted. Tyres proably didnt help either

Er, why pray tell do you need a spare hand whilst driving?????

I'd buy it Kiwi, do it, you know it makes sense...

As an off topic aside, the yanks nearly all drive auto's, and so it seems to the ozzies, and alot of other countries, I think it's just a british thing about hating auto's... I love them, I always thought a clutch was a crude way of attaching the engine to the transmission..

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

This is not at the bar with your 4x4 mates is it Billy
On a more serious note are these metric alloys the ones that cost an arm and leg to put rubber on?
Lets off road :)

I did only drive it back from a diesel injection specialist so there maybe truth in that

I have same alloys on my TRS except they are the non metric version, i believe your right Stewart metric rubber is very expensive
