Just found what I thought were two part kits for front strut rebuild, but it appears I was mistaken.
Both kits have a rubber tube, a large steel nut and a few odd seals. Part number is 3XB 95 616 018. Just clean installed my PC and haven't re-installed the parts catalogue yet so I'm at a loss as to what they're for - any ideas?

Re: Help identifying parts from number
It's not available from Citroen any more though is it?
Interestingly (well, if you don't get out much, like me...) the kits I have do appear to be the remains of strut kits - looking at the picture of strut internals posted on my other thread about strut rebuilds in the tech section, I've got many of the bits shown, but sadly not the large white (Teflon?) seals.
So it'll be worth making a note of that part number as a cross reference - presumably Citroen changed it when they went to the later numbering system.

Re: Help identifying parts from number
they are NLA sadly.. Although plaides must be able to get them somewhere since they still do recon struts..
More than likely it's a renumber yes, although I cant find any reference to that number either..

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Re: Help identifying parts from number
I think Pleiades make their own parts rather than buy them in. It's the Tefon seals that are the critical bit.
