Recently purchased a valver in alpine white, looks tatty and needs a respray. I don't know if im going mad but the urge to spray it in the old gordini blue , thoughts anyone ?

From a purists POV, the blue is normally reserved for Renaults and occasionally Peugeots. Racing Citroens tend(ed in the BXs day) to be white. There's no set rule though - I think a deep solid blue could look quite good, as long as you got all the bits of trim finished as they would have been in the factory etc.

OOOh looks nice in blue, how about a Olympic blue valver! as Kitch says the culture these days is to rattle can them, normally in matt black which looks epically rubbish!

The Olympic blue looks nice but think it need a flat colour, I may just do it in white as the previous owners have kept it totally original, but I will picture upload when complete, would be nice to get it show ready by spring.
