Seeing as I'm new to this BX lark, I have to say that ad gives me some ideas for modifications to my GTi :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Yes it belonged to one of our members on here and was a really nice car TZD, 1 of 3 used in this commercial I believe IIRC.

Ian popped over to see me last week to drop off the rest of Hilarys parts, it seems he was offered a deal he couldnt refuse and was assured although the car would be repainted etc that it wouldnt be cut up or scrapped.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I though't we'd already established that it was another BX that had been played around with & Ian's had just been re-painted?

Yes it was the low mileage 19TXD in white that was chopped up and Ians car was the one that skids into shot at the start of the ad.

I know this is a very old thread, but as I feared the ex Ian Fearne car never saw the road again after the advert and is untaxed and out of MOT.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
