Ex Mark Evans car, well known on the BX club a few years ago, I remember him selling it to a chap in Scotland.

What a strange advert, apart from no mot & no tax he's going to scrap a nice BX, WHY???? Are some people just dim or to fxxing lazy to get a car mot'd these day's? With an MOT it would be worth £500 all day long...... Lets hope someone buy's it before it gets scrapped....

As Mulley has said very strange advert, the seller has not said what is wrong with the car only that it is going to be scrapped.
In the pictures it looks a tidy car, but with an advert like that it may end up as a cube

Any car is worth about £200 scrap these day's & really large cars are worth a bit more.

It's the same as my first BX which the scrap man took away in about 2004 for 50 quid. I've missed that car every day since. If I had somewhere to put it and some spare cash......

Hmm, a BX petrol weighs in at just under a tonne, im pretty sure its not £200 a tonne inc collection these days, so maybe the vendor is telling a few porkies! Even so it looks far too good to be scrapped.

Scrap prices have come doooooooooooooooooown a lot !

The last time I checked with Sims/Wards (Approx. 1 month ago IIRC it was circa of £136/tonne) for a vehicle and if it had the tyres still fitted to it you had to deduct a further £2.50 per tyre off the final price if you dragged it 'over the bridge' !
