Is this the one West Heath sold a couple of years back? If so I can vouch for condition.

I'm pretty sure all the TGS had PAS, certainly the later, say post '88 ones. I know it was an option on the 19RD prior to '87, now that might be a bit more of a challenge unless a Jolly Green Giant....

I've driven Kieran's MK1 19RD with no PAS, and other than a couple of really tight bends found it fine.

They can be heavy, certainly my RD Auto seems to be but both are ok, remember all motors were like this once.

Not all TGSs had PAS. My late (as in i don't own it any longer) 1991 TGS Auto didn't have it fitted which i always thought was a weird omission.

But i'm also a little confused by the herringbone cloth interior on this car; should it not be teh rather less durable tweed?

Other than the above it looks good.

Tweed was an option on the TGS but standard on TGD after a certain period, having owned a 16TGS with no power steering I found it heavy and hard work at low speeds.

As I have two Athenas, it most certainly is not an Athena. However it could be!, with a bit of swapping around, like auto to manual for starters. Trim change and seats, plus steering wheel, badges, etc. However it is one of the correct colours, Platinum Grey, but probably without the white pin stripe. BTW both my Athenas, have PAS, but I would not mind if they were non PAS either, the car is light enough.
