Hi guys,

I bought this beautifully original BX 1.6 pilot back in February. I've had over 1000 miles trouble free motoring and loved every minute. I've recently been accepted on a uni course that starts in September so between now and then the BX is going to have to go - very regrettably.

It really is in fantastic shape and has just clocked over 50k. Loads of bills, receipts, every single tax disc from new and a digital radio too! I gave it a full service when I bought it and it has the rear spheres regassed last month so it's good to go. Full leather interior, power steering, Central locking and electric front windows and sunroof. There is so much history to write about, it's basically had no expense spared. I see that F736 PKX , has had Leather seats fitted to it since it first appeared F/S in July 2012 (when it had only Two owners then) Forum :- LINK and to it which it went up F/S not long after with many F/S adverts (for a couple of years or so) , Forum :- LINK !

I take it you bought it from its last F/S listing on E-BAY earlier this year ?

I wish you the best of luck with the sale, which I'm sure you'll get fairly quickly for this very Rare BX Pilot which is reasonably priced !

Yes, I bought it from a chap near Dunstable (on eBay) and drove it home to Bristol. I think it's very reasonably priced for a 25 year old classic in great condition. It only costs £120 to insure on a classic policy and I'm 28 years old.

Ironically this place is probably the worst place to sell a car, pretty much most of the members on here have one or more bx's already, so we tend to recommend selling via the freebie classic car websites & to avoid e-grot unless you get desperate. Good luck with the sale though
