gromits re valver

Hi all, there are 2 gromits under side of of my valver ihey keep falling off are they there
for a purpose run out of spares to replace would it be good idea to weld holes
the gromits are 1 each side of the front seats underneath floor pan.
hope this makes sense .

I've prob got a few if you need, they are just blanking plugs , I wouldn't weld up the holes as you could set fire to the sound deadening layer.
