The whole story is over here: https://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopi ... 13&t=22306

I'll be sticking the more momentous occasions in here, sort of a TL:DR version of the above.

Taking a break on the way home on collection day.

Moody dark shot the first night it was home.

After some welding, got introduced to the other one.

That brings us up to today, which marks getting the top half of the car and the glass clayed, polished, and waxed. Long slow process since I'm doing it by hand.

Your car is looking very nice after all your work. Bet you will keep having a look at it even if not taking it out for a spin.
Thank you for posting all the pictures and info on the club forum as well. :)

Thank you :) I'm already lining up lots of little cosmetic jobs to improve things. It's very rewarding to work on a car that's started out in such nice shape.

Temporary wheel trims turned out to actually really suit the BX. Also had a glorius day for a little snapshot recently.

From back in July when I accidentally bought a tailblazer from Mr Leech, then restored and fitted it.

I do like a tailblazer :) How did you manage to restore it, i've got a broken one which i'd love to get fixed.

Really depends just how it's broken. I covered the restoration over on the blog here: https://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopi ... 23#p266923

Oh no, I've far too many things to do :P You'll be fine doing it yourself, what's the worst that could happen? It's just glue and flammable liquids.

The next time you see the BX, it'll likely be in its new home in Kent since we've finally got a house sorted out. It's already booked for tip runs too, so much manky old linoleum to dispose of!
