Hello,
1st post - so please forgive the naivety.
Recently got a TXD. Working my way through the list of jobs....
Got to the O/S front electric window. Glass channel is in more parts than it started life with.
Before I go on a wild goose chase, or start fabricating - is there a source and/or are serviceable ones likely to be available at breakers?

Chevronics sell remanufactured ones.

If you have the have the skills then make one they are not not bad to do, I did for mine. I also found out that the early ones were made of aluminium but a pig to get off it was easier to change the glass.

They do rust quite badly esp front ones. I salvaged some rear channels that are slightly shorter and welded a bit on. Finding a bx in a breakers isn't easy now, think the Chevronics ones are over £30 each
