Return pipe rubber elbow - 5280 P5

Post by white exec »

Lots of us have had the rubber elbow (height correctors and other locations) split or perish.
Part no. is 5280 P5 Hydraulic return tube sleeve, diam.3, rubber.
Still showing as available.

If you google it, there are quite a few other suppliers, eg
https://www.bxparts.eu/en/hydraulic-ret ... antia.html*
https://www.online-teile.com/citroen-er ... anguage=en
https://peugeotcitroendsparts.com/peuge ... ve-5280p5/
*a remanufactured item

On this sort of thing, the Hydraulic pipe lining (joint sleeves) appear in the Piping Brackets section of SB Parts, and are still all available:
96 085 783 for 6.35mm unions
96 085 784 for 4.5mm unions
96 085 785 for 3.5mm unions

I believe that Dr Xantia (https://www.drxantia.com/index.php/en/p ... uage=en-GB) is the manufacturer of the "remanufactured" items.

Thanks for this Xantia-spares info! Their english is quite horrible and pictures are bad, but some rubber parts are worth a try at their price to check the quality (hope it's not the same as the pressure pipe seals that you find no two of the same in the picture of four :D )
