Hello,
I have been looking for a BX for some time. I have had a CX then an XM 25 years ago and recently bought an old Xantia to learn about the suspension.
I found a 1990 white BX locally which had been owned by the same man for the last 31 years. It is a petrol 1.4 marked as a "Calanque"
When I first saw it it was in amazing condition but the test drive proved there was a problem. He claimed the front spheres had been changed but did not mention the rears.
I bounced all the way home and immediately changed all five spheres. This transformed the car. It runs and drives beautifully. It only has 153000 Kilometers on the clock about 95,000 miles.
I am British but live in the Dordogne region of France. My wife thinks it is her car now - we will see. Her only complaint is there is no AirCon!
I also have a Citroen C5 X7 tourer which I love, one of the last with proper suspension.
BX in France just purchased.

Looks like a good BX you have got there. Many happy kilometres in prospect for you. Profitez-en.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
