Yes indeed, it was my Mk1 on ebay although rumor has it, theres someone living in the outer hebridese who didn't see it.
I went to London in it a few weeks back, and someone we met there said " I saw one just like this on ebay the other week, didn't think there could be so many around now"
Seemed a shame to put him wise.

Nice-looking car, but who's to say there isn't a nice dollop of tinworm underneath or on the rear arches, or for that matter on the inner wings?
Shiny cars can hide all kinds of horrors: I've put my thumbs though the boot floors of very shiny BXs before now.
Low-mileage cars are by no means rust-free - they're often used for short runs and pu back in the garage damp. My first car - a 35k-mile always-garaged 15-year-old Austin 1300 was just like that - though admittedly you only had to look at the chassis on one of the things and they'd rust through before your very eyes!
I think I win ! it didn't go the distance but not the reason I expected. Seems a bit odd ending the sale when the bidding was getting interesting. Any views on this one.
