Hi there,
I've been offered my Holy Grail of BX's, a 4x4 and the Hurricane really must go. Its the 1.9 petrol version with 83k on the clock. Its currently running on 16v grey rims but i've got the silver ones still.
I've done the following to it since last September: (thick pile of reciepts)
All new spheres
New genuine front struts
New brake calipers
New brake pads
New genuine clutch
New headlights and fog lights
Both rear arm bearings
New Radiator and cap
New fan switch
New thermostat
Rocker gasket seal
New dipstick
Michelin tyres (done 10k and are still perfect)
Rear suspension cylinder
Cambelt
Its also had some new pipes.
Bad Points:
Piece broken out of lower front splitter (30quid from citroen)
Heater control stiff and blower a bit weak (I have another blower unit)
Small dent on leading edge of front wing (have a mint Hurricane wing to fit)
One front suspension strut sticks at the very bottom. I have another strut to fit
There is some oil leaking out. (i suspect this is the sump gasket which i can supply)
Apart from this the car is in really nice condition in Triton Green.
Its got 9 months MOT and but the tax has now ran out.
I've changed the oil every 5000 miles.
If anybody is interested then please drop me an e-mail [email protected]
I can supply pictures of it on request.
I want 250quid for it but as you can see I have spent MUCH MUCH more on it!!
I've also got a full leather interior that i may be prepared to sell with the car.
