Wanted, a tailgate with no spoiler, pref red but I suppose I can paint one..? Or, instructions on how to remove the hoop spoiler from my ph1 16v. I'm planning something a bit different...

Open the boot, think you may need to remove a bit of plastic trim running under the boot lip. If you look directly up to the bottom of the spoiler there's 2 bolts on each side well recessed into the boot. You need a decent long reach socket to get to them. Will take pics tonight when I get back home if you need them.
