Heres my current BX project

Originally it was 1.4l carb with 4 speed gearbox and no fancy electronics anywhere :)

Spec list:
16V D6C engine
2,5" exhaust
One layer of Dynamat from roof to floor
16V interior
Front lowered about 10cm from original now with 2cm ground clearance in lowest position :)
Fondmetal 4000 rims in 15x7 size

Not really my cup of tea at all but looks very nicely done. There are some right lash-ups about but that certainly has something about it. How does it ride?

Well i've mde front end quite stiff so it wont rub all the time, still alot better than people with "normal" suspension :P

I suppose a BX always has that advantage! Great that people are choosing to modify cars that aren't just Volkswagens. There's far too much of that over here! (by modify, I mean cover in nitromors to remove the paint, angle grind a few suspension coils off and fit a roof rack. That's what I mean by lash-up!)

Not sure about the alloys, but love the rest - I don't usually like white cars!

4 Speed box? never knew they fitted one to the BX!

Is that the suitcase engined version that only had 4sp?

The very base BX in the UK (no trim level, simply BX) had a 4 speed 'box and 62bhp rather than 72bhp. Other countries may have had different models.

Do you think that clear side repeaters would suit it better?

In my opinion it would look too white with clear side repeaters, which is why im gonna change front repeaters to orange

On the picture above, did you manage to remove the bodykit from the rear arch without damaging it or did you have to sacrifice the bodykit by destroying it to save the inner metal wing underneath?

Good point. Maybe smoked ones? Anyway, it's your car, so whatever looks best to you.

Heat blower works really well, so yes, without damaging anything.

I guess on the back of the metal arch, so that the heat goes into the mastik and does not damage the bodykit?

I've managed to remove the bodykit sections from the sills before but never a rear arch.

Yeah, heat it until it starts to smoke, then carefully try to strip it off.
